Here's My Story... On leaving school with average qualifications I got a job as a trainee machine operator (aka engineering) drilling holes in lumps of metal. The hours were long, the work was boring even a trained monkey could have done the job. I asked myself, was this it? Is this my life for next fifty years? Working in a factory, buy a house, get married, have children and not achieve anything in the world I once dreamt about! The sad fact was many of the elders I spoke and worked with accepted this as part of their life and carried on regardless. 
I felt there was something missing, I became cynical about the rat race. Was I on auto-forward for the rest of my life? Something still kept gnawing away at me. Seven years after leaving school I packed my bags and went travelling to escape the rat race. I even had people tell me I couldn't go travelling!!! Off I went around the world. In one aspect to see the beautiful sites on this planet and the other to find more depth and meaning to life. Fourteen months later, after seeing some of the greatest sites on earth, such as the Pyramids, Taj Mahal and Sydney Opera House, I returned home and I was back in the mundane routine. "Do a degree" everyone said "you'll be set up for life" they said. Guess where I spent my next three years as a mature student? I too fell for the great 'degree deception'. My next career move turned into a nightmare. My boss and I didn't get on
and for the short twelve months I was employed there, six of those
months was spent at home signed off by the doctor. So
I read lots of self help / personal development
books (from Anthony Robbins to Zig Ziglar), watched "The Secret", attended seminars and bootcamp. A year long, online mentor program from one of the experts, should put the 'cat amongst the pigeons'. I have found myself more confused than ever! Their stuff only works if you're in a happy or positive mood I thought to improve my life maybe found in the following:
